About Me
Hello! I’m Rin Swenson, a trans girl born and raised in Montana. I’ve grown up a bit socially awkward as a kid, but I always had a small group of friends. I’ve normally had a very strong sense of right and wrong in life. Which lead to me becoming a moderator in online communities that I’m a part of. Not all of them lasted that long just because of how the internet is, but there have been a fair amount of communities that I am currently moderating that have lasted over a year. I tend to get hyper obsessed with specific tasks. I’ve ran my own business since I was 12, which there is more about below and I have also volunteered for my school with livestreaming sports countless times, more about that below as well. I am graduating from Lone Peak High School a year early and will remember to change this after I do graduate. I took 3 extra summer classes to get the credits needed. And I’m excited to see where life leads me next!
Running My Own Business
Since I was 10 years old in 2014 I have had a business in my town’s local Farmers’ Market. I started off selling little origami stuff, but over the next few years it changed into jewelry made from polished petrified wood. I called it Petrified Pendants. Since I started this, I had to pay taxes from a much earlier age than most people and learned how business paperwork was.
I started falling off selling in person in 2019, only going to about 3/4ths of the Farmers’ Market dates, but to make up for it I made an Etsy store (click here if you want to see the page.) Moving into 2020 and the COVID-19 pandemic, I completely stopped going to the in person event and tried to focus more on the Etsy.
AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner
In early 2020, I spent several months working on getting AWS Certified, and this is my proof of doing it. I passed on April 16th, 2020. Just click here or click the image to see the full certification. The name on the page is my legal name rather than my preferred name of Rin.

Volunteer Work
Since 5th grade I’ve done volunteer work in my local community by livestreaming the school’s sports. I’ve also done volunteer work in my online communites with being a Discord moderator for the past 5 years to make sure these communities stay healthy.
